Air Duct Cleaning
The air ducts in your home carry the air your family breathes every single day. Over time they collect dust, pet dander, pollen, mold spores, and other contaminants that get recirculated with every heating and cooling cycle. Our professional air duct cleaning removes this buildup from every vent and return using high-powered equipment and a thorough before-and-after inspection. We recommend cleaning every 3–5 years — sooner if you have pets, allergies, or have recently moved in.

Dryer Vent Cleaning
A clogged dryer vent is one of the most common — and most preventable — causes of house fires. As lint builds up inside the vent line, your dryer works harder, takes longer to dry a load, and draws more electricity. Our dryer vent cleaning clears the full length of the line from outside to inside while the dryer runs, so we can verify airflow pressure is restored. We recommend annual cleaning for every household.

Furnace Maintenance & Cleaning
Your furnace is the heart of your home's heating system and needs annual care to stay safe and efficient. We offer two levels of service: a full tune-up and inspection that covers 11 components including carbon monoxide testing ($139), and a deep cleaning of the blower motor, heat exchanger, and combustion chamber ($189). Both can be booked together for complete coverage. Schedule in fall before temperatures drop.

UVC Light Filtration
UVC germicidal lamps installed inside your ductwork use ultraviolet light to kill mold, bacteria, and viruses continuously as air circulates through your system. Unlike filters, UVC light reaches the dark, moist interior surfaces where microorganisms thrive and where conventional cleaning cannot reach. There are no chemicals added, no filter replacements, and no ongoing maintenance once the lamp is installed. A single $350 installation works around the clock.

Insulation Installation

AC Maintenance
Air conditioners that do not receive regular service work harder, break down more often, and have shorter lifespans. Our AC maintenance service includes a thorough inspection and cleaning of filters and coils, refrigerant level checks, electrical component testing, and a full system performance evaluation. Scheduling annually in spring — before the summer heat arrives — keeps your system ready when you need it most and protects your manufacturer's warranty.

Air Duct Sanitation
Cleaning removes the buildup inside your ducts — sanitization eliminates what cleaning leaves behind. We treat your duct system with EnviroCON, an EPA-registered chlorine dioxide sanitizer that destroys odor-causing mold, mildew, and bacteria at their source. It is safe for use in occupied spaces, leaves no chemical smell, and requires no rinsing or ventilation wait time. Best booked immediately following an air duct cleaning appointment.

Can I book more than one service at the same visit?
Yes, and it is often the most efficient way to get everything done. Many services pair naturally — air duct cleaning with sanitization, dryer vent cleaning alongside a furnace tune-up, or a full house cleaning that covers ducts and dryer vents in one visit. We also offer bundled packages (Full House, Move-In, Annual Tune-Up) that combine the most common service combinations at a lower total price than booking each separately.
How long does a typical appointment take?
Most single services take 1–2 hours. A Full House Complete Cleaning (air ducts plus dryer vent) typically runs 2–3 hours depending on your home’s size and number of vents. A furnace tune-up usually takes around 1 hour. When you book, we will give you a time estimate so you can plan your day. Our technicians call ahead before arriving.
Are your technicians certified and insured?
Yes. Every technician who works in your home is a member of our own team — licensed, bonded, and insured. We do not use subcontractors. All technicians are trained directly by PNW Fresh Air and are familiar with the types of HVAC systems common to homes across King and Snohomish County. You will often see the same faces on return visits.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Our pricing is published on every individual service page so you can get a clear sense of cost before you even contact us. For services where the price depends on your home’s size or layout — such as insulation installation, AC installation, or larger duct systems — we provide a free on-site estimate. There is no obligation and no pressure.
How often should I schedule each service?
General guidelines based on industry standards and our experience with homes in this region: Air duct cleaning every 3–5 years (sooner with pets or allergies). Dryer vent cleaning once a year. Furnace maintenance once a year before winter. AC maintenance once a year before summer. UVC light filtration is a one-time installation with no scheduled follow-up. Air duct sanitization is recommended after a deep cleaning or following any water damage.
